Our retouching process
Many images from Redline Media will have recieved complimentary retouching to reach the finished effect. This is usually to tweak things outside of our control, but can also be used to add character to the image itself or create a vibrance at request of a customer.
This will usually consist of light and colour tweaking but can sometimes include damage/dirt removal in a process we like to call ‘retouching’. We offer a POA service that covers additional retouching, this includes background work.

'The Caddy'
The base colour in this image was quite strong, with the light balance almost perfect as shot. But as most photographers will tell you, shooting the photograph is only the beginning of the process, and in this image we felt that a ‘mood’ was requried.
A quick tweak to the exposure, contrast and brightness allows an image that was great when first snapped, really come to life and show a layer of depth that really brings out the detail in the photograph.
'The 7UP Camper'
In this image the camera was able to soak in the lines but not really reflect the true image! The contrast at the race track was quite strong on this date, due to the intense sunlight – therefore we needed to tweak the levels and white balance.
A quick blast over and it really brought the image back to life, showing just how vibrant the vehicle was on the day.
